1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of G22 Laundry, including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). G22 Laundry Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the platform that connects customers needing laundry services ("Customers") with independent service providers ("Workers").
By creating an account, placing an order, or accepting work through the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all other policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use G22 Laundry. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or belong to users who do not meet eligibility requirements.
3. Account registration and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we suspect fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
4. Services and marketplace nature
G22 Laundry is a technology platform that facilitates connections between Customers and independent Workers. We do not employ Workers, nor do we directly perform laundry services. Workers are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or representatives of G22 Laundry.
When you place an order, you enter into a service agreement directly with the Worker who accepts your request. We collect payment on behalf of the Worker and remit earnings to them, minus any platform fees.
5. Orders, pricing, and payment
Prices are displayed before checkout and are based on service type, bag size, add-ons, and delivery distance. All fees, including trip fees, platform fees, and applicable taxes, are shown before you confirm an order.
Payment is processed at the time of order placement. We use third-party payment processors; by submitting payment information, you authorize us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, contact information, and special instructions.
- Ensure someone is available during the scheduled pickup and delivery window, or authorize a secure drop-off location.
- Disclose any delicate, high-value, or special-care items before pickup.
- Do not include prohibited items such as hazardous materials, firearms, illegal substances, or extremely valuable items exceeding our liability cap.
7. Worker responsibilities
Workers agree to:
- Complete accepted orders within the agreed timeframe and to professional standards.
- Handle customer items with reasonable care.
- Communicate promptly with customers regarding delays or issues.
- Maintain any required licenses, insurance, or permits for their business.
- Not subcontract work without customer consent.
8. Prohibited conduct
You may not use G22 Laundry to:
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any user.
- Submit false reports, fake reviews, or misleading information.
- Interfere with platform operations, security, or another user's account.
- Transact outside the platform to avoid fees ("fee avoidance").
- Include prohibited or dangerous items in laundry bags.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, and forfeiture of pending earnings or refunds.
9. Reviews and content
Users may submit reviews and feedback. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and distribute it for platform operation and promotion.
We may remove content that violates these Terms, is defamatory, or contains hate speech, threats, or explicit material.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, G22 Laundry is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from use of the Services.
- Damages exceeding the total amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
Our liability for lost or damaged items is further limited as described in our Refund Policy.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless G22 Laundry, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate the account relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the platform or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will remain in effect.
13. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Services will first be addressed through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action and representative proceedings are waived. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification at least 15 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
